Description
Spring Flora: Mix up your mediums with Watercolor & Gouache!
Instructor: Leslie Barnum
WEDNESDAYS April 8, 15 & 22nd, 10am – 2pm
$70/members and $140/nonmembers
Have you felt stifled by the ‘traditional rules’ of transparent watercolor? Learn how to successfully combine watercolor and gouache to get the best of both mediums while focusing on painting
spring flowers and plants. Students will learn to start a painting by going with the flow of watercolor and then finish with the bold strokes of gouache. This combination of mediums is fun and very forgiving, allowing for freedom and experimentation.
This workshop is best for students who are familiar with basic watercolor techniques. Leslie will spend some time explaining the difference in using these two mediums.
