“Bonnie Moore Watercolor Workshop”
Feb 2, 9, 16
10am – 2pm
$60/members
$120/nonmembers
Please join us for this fun and informative watercolor workshop as we paint two different birds: the Tufted Titmouse and a Chick-a-dee. Painting techniques covered will be the layering of color, glazing, and adding both complimentary and “spice” colors near our focal point. You will learn how to use graphite paper to transfer your patterns onto your watercolor paper, and how to use masking fluid to preserve your whites. If we complete both projects, we will add either a landscape or simple floral piece.
Level: Some experience with watercolor will be helpful.
Artist Bio I have always had a love for art. A lot of my inspiration comes from being out in nature – hiking and snowshoeing. When I began taking watercolor classes in 2006, it started out as a real challenge but I absolutely fell in love with the process of watercolor painting. I use a lot of bright, bold colors in my art and employ a variety of techniques on different mediums such as aqua board, clay board, and Yupo paper. I am continually taking workshops and classes to improve my knowledge and skill set. I began teaching watercolor 2015. It’s such a joy to share my knowledge and experience with others. You can view my work at https://mooreart4you.com.
